PROJECT OVERVIEW
The State Road 312 Bridge is located in St.
Augustine, Fl. This structure is approx. 3900 ft. long, with a 65
ft. navigable clearance through the channel. The bridge is
constructed with AASHTO type VI concrete beams, with a post-tensioned
drop-in beam main span. This project, which began in Sept. of 1997
was completed just 676 days later in July of 1999. This bridge,
which is just down stream from the famous and historic Bridge
of Lions, will help keep traffic following to the St. Augustine beach
area once the Lions Bridge rehabilitation begins in late 2001 or
early 2002. participants in this project were:
