PROJECT OVERVIEW

This bridge is currently under a rehab project for restoration. Keesler Bridge was built in 1927 over the Yazoo River in Greenwood, Mississippi.   Projected cost  will be around $1.8 million dollars.

When first built this bridge use to turn on a single pier by being pulled by a team of mules on each side of the Yazoo River to let steam boats of the past thru its channel.

This bridge is on the National Register of Historic Places.
