PROJECT OVERVIEW


Work started in April 1998, on this $350 million cable-stayed bridge project.  This two-lane roadway system, which includes viaducts, earth filled sections and a cable-stayed bridge, extends for 59.3 km., 36.8 miles.  The main span of the cable-stayed bridge will be 350 m., 1148.3 ft. with two lateral spans of 120 m.,393.7 ft.  The navigational clearance will be 50m., 164 ft. over the Parana River valley.  This immense project will connect the provincial capital cities of Rosario (Province of Santa Fe) and Victoria (province of Entre Rios).  The project is scheduled to be completed in March 2002 and is being constructed by a group of companies including; Impregilo-Iglys, Hochtief, Sideco-Iecsa, and Benito Roggio & Sons.   Check this page again for more project undated information.
